25th Annual Lorne Proteomics Symposium 2020

"Celebrating the silver jubilee of Proteomics in Australia"

It’s been 25 years since the beachside town of Lorne first became the home of Proteomics. Every year, the Lorne Proteomics Symposium offers a platform to discuss, engage and learn the latest technological developments to facilitate research across multiple disciplines. The silver jubilee will celebrate how the field has progressed and highlight key achievements for state-of-the-art research.  We will showcase proteomics approaches being applied by the next generation of researchers to address challenges facing clinical and translational medicine, plant, veterinary, and environmental research.

The 25th Annual Lorne Proteomics Symposium will be held from Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th February 2020 at the Cumberland Lorne Resort in Lorne, Victoria.

The Symposium provides a unique opportunity to engage in discussion, exchange ideas and information as well as be informed about the latest developments in Proteomics technologies and tools for the interpretation of Proteomics outputs, and their application in biology and in clinical and translational medicine.

We look forward to seeing you at the 25th Annual Lorne Proteomics Symposium!

Bushfire Relief, Recovery and Prevention Initiative.
Like most of Australia we have been lost for words at the current bushfire crisis that has devastated our country. In a tripartite partnership with ASN Events, Cumberland Lorne and all ‘Lorne’ Series Conference Committees (Proteomics, Proteins, Cancer, Genome, and Infection & Immunity) we have pledged to donate $1 per delegate for each attendee over the 5 conferences held in February at Cumberland Lorne. Our $1 will be matched by ASN Events and Cumberland Lorne, anticipating $5,000 in donations from the 1600 delegates attending across the 2 weeks of conferencing.

These funds will be donated directly to Lorne CFA who work tirelessly to protect the area in which these conferences are held. Whilst they have not been affected by the current 2020 bushfires the funds will be used to assist with planning & prevention of future fire events and we are proud to support and give something back to those who have protected us, and their community, for so many years in the regional town of Lorne, Victoria.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to donate directly via cash collection tins at the conference registration desk during the 2 weeks.
